Appraisal Review Board Board of Directors The Appraisal Review Board (A.R.B.) is the judicial part of the property tax system in Texas. The Appraisal Review Board currently consists of five members serving staggered terms, which are nominated and appointed by the Board of Directors. The A.R.B. is responsible for hearing protests made by property owners as well as entity challenges.
